Founder and CEO
Paul is an internationally recognized expert in Personality Type and the author of five breakthrough books including The Art of SpeedReading People, which have sold over one-million copies.
Over the past thirty-five years, Paul has developed innovative training programs and online tools which help salespeople successfully cultivate prospects and build sustainable client relationships, help teams collaborate more productively, and managers motivate and retain valuable employees. A particular passion of Paul’s is using his expertise and experience to help people live healthier lives and to improve the patient experience by enabling healthcare providers to communicate most successfully with each individual patient.
Paul has conducted the most extensive research to date into Personality Type and communication effectiveness and created fourteen proprietary software tools.
A jury consultant for twenty-five years, Paul pioneered the use of Personality Type to help trial attorneys understand and communicate with jurors and has worked on dozens of high profile civil and criminal cases including the first physician-assisted suicide trial of Dr. Jack Kevorkian.
Paul holds a BS degree in Psychology and an MS in Organizational Behavior.
Polly Merritt Maglio
V.P. of Global Accounts
& Master Trainer
Polly is stationed in Hartford, Connecticut, headquarters of SpeedReading People, LLC. Polly oversees client account activity from inception through completion of all training deliverables, and has trained thousands of business executives in the art of successful interpersonal communication.
Prior to joining the SRP team, she held Regional Directorship positions for numerous national fitness organizations where she trained upper level executives in the art of designing and executing industry-specific leadership and sales training programs. As a Master Trainer, Polly also conducts an annual 4-day train-the-trainer program. With a 30-year background in career assessment and enhancement, sales and leadership training, recruiting, interdepartmental communication, and strategic marketing, Polly oversees SRP’s business development and training facilitation both in the U.S. and abroad.
Director of Accounts
SaraBeth joined the SRP Team in January of 2013. As Director of Accounts, her responsibilities include launching on-line access for a variety of different tools for both existing and new clients.
Overseeing account management from a financial and maintenance standpoint, interacting with the client as needed. Additionally handling all the day-to-day activities of running the Hartford office including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Bookkeeping, and other clerical duties.
Prior to joining SRP, SaraBeth was in Public Relations at a number of organizations as well as having extensive administrative experience in many non-profit and volunteer based communities. She holds a degree in Business Administration from Mount Ida College in Newton, MA.
